Meet the variegated pink Eureka lemon

February 25, 2012

You may have read about my potted bearss lime tree or seen my dog, Lucy with the lime tree. We also have a navel orange and a satsuma tangerine. To expand the citrus collection, I’d like to plant a lemon tree but don’t really have room for another fruit tree. Putting this lemon in a pot might be a possibility. It’s ornamental as well as productive.

Read the Sunset Magazine article about this little gem. The buds are fuschia while the flesh is pink and the juice is clear. I like the pink Bauer pot too. So LA and unfortunately, so expensive. I suspect my vintage Bauer pottery was not so pricey when new. (Bauer Pottery Company, Los Angeles).
