Bugs and diseases show up by mid-summer and can affect the health of vegetable plants. Eventually, the harvest may be diminished or the plants may die. Most gardeners can recite tales of garden woes and foes.
So what’s bugging your plants this summer? Do you know what’s eating my green bean leaves?
What’s Wrong With My Plant? is a great resource from University of Minnesota Extension.
I checked on the snap bean page and suspect that the culprit might be the bean leaf beetle.
UC Davis IPM Online suggests the same culprit by a different name, cucumber beetle.
Figure out what’s bugging your veggies and then find out what to do.
