Trussing Tomatoes

Thankfully, there have been many new tomato cages on the market, giving gardeners more ways to manage, contain and direct the vigorous growers. I’ve used a half dozen different ways over thirty some years of gardening. I currently use the six foot tall Texas Tomato Cages, which are very sturdy and store flat. 

But let’s get on to what others are doing. Check the article Supporting Big Tomato Vines on the Renee’s Garden Seeds website. Though not for the small urban garden, it looks like a great way to manage a long row of tomatoes.
