Thoughts on Cauliflower

Cauliflower heads emerge from the blue-green leaves in my garden. This heirloom variety, Early Snowball, appears to be somewhat self-blanching. I’ve tied the leaves though to keep the curds white. Maybe next year I’ll try a purple or Romanesco cauliflower.
