Starting A Community Garden at Your Church

September 28, 2011

Victory Gardens San Diego and the San Diego Community Garden Network invite you to a half day workshop on How to Start a Community Garden at Your Church. The date is Saturday, October 1, 1-4 pm at Serra Mesa Community Garden and Orchard at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Get more details at the Victory Gardens San Diego website. For readers outside San Diego, consider this idea for your community.

San Diego needs more urban farms. For more information, read my posts on the New Roots Community Farm here in San Diego and my essay Open Ground.
