March 17, 2012 <img alt="Planting peas" height="371" src="https://68.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lumzm37ZAv1qe4h21.jpg" width="500"/> In eastern Massachusetts, today, St. Patrick’s Day, is the time to plant peas. It’s even Saturday with a high of 55 degrees, under partly cloudy skies in Ipswich. Sounds perfect to me. Temperatures will warm to 70 degrees Sunday through Wednesday if you’re busy today. Also perfect to nudge pea seeds along toward germination.
