Some of you battle gophers and what stories I’ve heard over the years. I remember when a gopher took out my sister’s Yves Piaget rose overnight when I was visiting. (Thankfully our soil is too sandy for their tunnels).

Elsewhere, other garden thieves diminish the harvest: squirrels, groundhogs, moles and voles. Add to the enemies list or tell your stories in “Comments."
