I’ve harvested a few lemon cucumbers now. The yellow slices pair nicely with green cucumbers. The plant is vigorous, already scrambling over the top of my trellis and down the other side. There are more blooms than I can count and many tiny cucumbers.

The lemon cucumber seems seedier than the usual slender green cukes I grow.  Sadly, the only connection to the lemon seems to be color and shape. Wouldn’t a little lemon tang have been nice?
