Purple kohlrabi grown from seed (Renee’s Garden Seeds) during another fall-winter garden.Truth be told, I think I grow them for the stunning magenta color.

A few days ago I planted one row of kohlrabi–Crispy Colors Duo. I move seedlings around to alternate the purple and green-skinned kohlrabi and may end up with two staggered rows. The seedlings grow fast and can be thinned to six inches apart.
