I’m sharing a “sampling” of the week’s harvest since I was inattentive to documentation and others came to harvest for me while I was away.
Again this week, just green beans, bell peppers, a cucumber and guavas. I’m thankful for even this knowing that some gardening friends contend with first frosts in August, deer, raccoons and rabbits and their harvests have ceased.

Most every day I savor a small dish of ‘Green Zebra’ and red tomatoes with basil, olive oil, red wine vinegar and pepper. Though the harvest is completed, the tomatoes linger on my counter, even now in October.
