#OptOutside and Public Trust

#OptOutside and Public Trust

It’s Black Friday, but I won’t be shopping, not even online. I’ll be heading out soon to Sunset Cliffs Natural Park for a short hike and in the afternoon, tending my garden. If you can, Opt Outside (#OptOutside). REI reminds us that this year, getting outdoors may be more important than ever in a pandemic.

#OptOutside isn’t just about Black Friday. It is a mindset. It is about choosing life outdoors. And it has become a way for people to share who they are and what we believe in.

If you need some ideas—even if you don’t have a large chunk of time to get outside— check the REI website link below.

Then tonight, when you’re feeling refreshed from your time outdoors watch Patagonia’s Public Trust. It’s about the Fight for America’s Public Lands, the land that belongs to all of us as Americans.
