In My San Diego Garden and Kitchen
The short version as it’s a holiday week and we’re all busy. I cut the first head of ‘Premium Crop’ broccoli this year. It’s smaller than usual because of some problems earlier in the season. Hoping for side shoots.
Here’s some French sorrel, ‘Red Frills’ mustard and flat leaf parsley I gathered for a friend.
We’re expecting four days of rain so I harvested some of the romaine lettuce and a good handful of mesclun for Christmas week salads.
Wishing you and yours a pleasant holiday full of family, friends and food.
