All in Harvest Monday
Last week we headed to Seattle to visit our son, his wife and our first grandchild, Shiloh James who is now a month old. My three-family winter garden is very productive now so I brought an extra carry-on sized suitcase mostly filled with the garden bounty and a few small gifts.
My Harvest Monday post this week will be photos of the veggies and fruit as I packed them. We shared the salad in the photo above—all from the garden.
Here’s the kitchen part of “In My San Diego Garden and Kitchen.” Spinach from the garden and navel oranges from our tree with a drizzle of olive oil, wrapped in parchment and baked made a sumptuous meal.
