Veggie Garden Bouquet

Veggie Garden Bouquet

Here’s a bouquet I made from flowers gathered in my vegetable garden. All the flowers attract pollinators and beneficial insects to the garden. Zinnias, garlic chives, feverfew, parsley flowers and oregano flowers make a bouquet for my kitchen.

Zinnia and a bumble bee. The bumble bees often sleep on the zinnias.

Members of the carrot family (anise, caraway, carrot, coriander, dill, fennel, and parsley) attract beneficial wasps and flies to the vegetable garden. These insects and others are the soldiers in the pest wars.
